    Legality Question For Benelli's

So, I know that you can't have a folding stock with a pistol grip either on the grip or the forend.

Someone made mention that if the Benelli is stamped H&K, you can put a aftermarket extended tube but if it's not, you can't or you can only put certain brands or something like that. It didn't make sense to me.

Also, someone said that the M2 was illegal to buy in California and that he didn't think that the M4 could be purchased either.

Bottom line, I want to get a Benelli semi-auto for 3 gun match's that holds at least 7 in the tube....someone please help me out.

Federal 922(r) requires an imported semi-auto shotgun to have no more than 10 foreign made parts if you want to expand the shotgun's capacity to over 5 rounds.

H&K Benelli's were imported before 922(r) went into effect and are considered exempt from the 922(r) parts compliance.

Benelli M-2 and M-4 shotguns are CA legal. They sell them at Turner's.
If you want to extend the capacity over 5 rounds one one of those, you will need to comply with 922(r).
