Trigger group retaining pin walking

Finally had time to go shooting this weekend and I noticed that the trigger group retaining pin on my Benelli Supersport walks itself out after 3 rounds of trap shooting.

Has anyone else encountered this before? Short of taping it or using loctite, is there another way to keep it secure?

Ok I'll try this, it looks identical both ends but there could be a very slight difference.

BTW on a different topic, do you know if Metcalf will be open tomorrow morning?

Thanks, they didn't list Benelli Supersport so not sure if it will be compatible or not, I'll try my the pin from my wife's M2 and see if it fits. If it does then this one should too.

My 870 does this. I tried everything in the book to fix it. Now I just put some electrical tape on it. I think it gives it character. Not so sure on a Benelli, though!

That's what I did on my by B80 after replacing the pin and circlip with no real resolution. Been on there for decades now.

I'll have to do this too if there are no anti-walk pins for the Benelli Supersport. Seems like an odd oversight in the design to have a pin that can become loose after a while.
