    Remington 48 shell capacity

Have a nice old 48 Sportsman from my Father in Law's estate...got a question about capacity..the 48 Sportsman has a 2 shell capacity in the tube (there is no "plug" to restrict the capacity). I understand the 11-48 "non sportsman" had a higher capacity (may have had a removable plug in the magazine tube)...Anyone know for sure how to increase the capacity in the 48 sportsman or is it possible...something simple as the old gun is not worth much so don't want to spend much on it if at all...thanks
God and the Constitution give me my rights and actions...any other input is just blabbering.

I believe the Sportsman 48 has a dimpled mag tube, so you can remove the dimples for full capacity. You would most likely need a longer spring.
Never initiate force against another. That should be the underlying principle of your life. But should someone do violence to you, retaliate without hesitation, without reservation, without quarter, until you are sure that he will never wish to harm - or never be capable of harming - you or yours again.
