Walmart's that carry ammo usually get a fall shipment of cheap shotguns shells. My local Rancho Cordova store currently has 12 gauge 7.5 and 8s for $4.98a box until they sell out. 20 Gauge slightly higher.

Been all over this all summer long here in San Diego. It goes boom and breaks clays. It's $4.94/box out here, can't beat that.
