I have a Berretta a400 extreme 12 gauge, I am looking for a improved modified external choke. My question is what is a good site that you can recommend to purchase this choke, sheels ,cabellas, sportsman warehouse or bass pro don't stock it locally.thanks

You can get them directly from Briely: http://www.briley.com/

Brownells, otherwise known as the online gun parts superstore, is also a good place to check: http://www.brownells.com/

I would keep the flush choke if I were, extended chokes have a tendency to come loose, which is irritating. My wife's Benelli M2 has the flush choke and it doesn't come loose as easily as the extended chokes that came with my Benelli Supersport. I ended up using Anti-seize on my choke tubes to keep them in place longer.

It is a good idea no matter what choke you by to ensure its tight from time to time. Extended chokes make it easier to ensure its tight.

You used Anti-seize to keep them tight?

If you know what you want, EBay your best friends. I never payed more than $20 for all my chokes, and i buy only good ones.

Yup. I know it sounds odd but grease and anti-seize helps keep the choke tight. It lets you tighten the choke more than you'll be able to normally.

I have always liked the Trulock chokes. Briley makes good ones too and you can find them on EBay for a good price.

External choke? Do you mean extended choke?

OP all of the options above, but also don't forget Beretta themselves, don't be in a rush, you can catch some great deals, most of the brands above have at one time made the beretta branded chokes.
