Almost there with my Stoeger M3000

Ive had this Stoeger M3000 for over a year now and plan to compete with it
I bought some upgrade parts from Taran Tactical (+7 extension, oversized safety, bolt release, and charging handle) but it sat like that
I shot with it and had fun but I needed to get it ready for 3-gun
this weekend I finally when about opening the loading port, polishing the magazine tube and stippling the forearm and grip

This is how it initially looked

Only thing left I have to do is get a extended lifter and I will probably replace the front sight and of court get my shell carrier and practice practice practice

Very nice! I still need to take mine out to the range. How'd you go about polishing the mag tube?

I have a M3500 I use for 3-gun, its a great shooter but I have come to prefer the Versamax. Good job on the polishing.

I'm too lazy so I'm just gonna buy an m3k that comes with all the good times mods.
Buying a safe and sane firework is like paying a hooker for a hug. I do not see the appeal in it.

You will still have to open the loading port up and polish the mag tub on the M3K

Mag tube I totally understand I gotta polish it, but I think the m3k has the loading port already opened up, and specifically has the serial number placed in a different location in case you want to open it up more.

Hahah, I think I can manage that.

Was it something you consider worth doing? Were you able to notice the difference. There's an extensive thread on brianenos.com about the m3000 and I remember that being mentioned on multiple occasions.
