    My 590A1 complete

    Finished my 590A1
    Specs. 18.5 inch barrel, Magpul furnature (Quick release cups/offset light mount/Switch holder), Arch Shell Holder 7 rnd, GG&G quick release forearm, Promag enhanced safety, TruGlow tritium front sight, Surefire 951 flashlight and tape switch.

    Does the light, switch and wires get in the way when you pump the action?

      I'd ditch the sling and go with a wireless light. K.I.S.S. is how I keep my HD weapons.

            No it doesn't but that military spec IR lens/cover has so far fallen apart twice on me from the recoil so Im gonna ditch it

              Well its not light but really wasn't even before I upgraded it but isnt unmanageable
              the 590A1 is a heavy shotgun but I can shoot 3 inch shells with very manageable recoil

                I actually got a 500 tactical from Turners for 300.00
                it was used but in good/new condition
                Im going to put a Raptor grip on it

                    How is the magpul pump compared to the stock corncob? It feels like the stock style was smoother on my 590a1 (20"). Also how is the balance with the shell holder on there?
