I'm a fan of single shots. If anybody here sees the posts I make I like to whore out my Baikals...
Well my survival gun (MP-18 12ga) is finally getting some further into its life. I weighed it and it weighs between 4.5 and 5lbs... It has an 18.5" barrel, UTG Ghost ring sights (had to solder on a cheap steel weaver rail to mount the rear they are SURPRISINGLY accurate and sturdy) and I have a cheap plastic 4 round sidesaddle mounted on the right side of the stock. I also added the wood forend since the plastic one wobbled a ton. When broken down into a pack the longest part of the gun is 18.5". Perfect for my bug out bag. I mainly shoot rifled slugs out of it which are a hoot because of how light the darned thing is. Most people that try it shoot it once and hand it right back to me, even with the limbsaver on it. Haha.
It's still a work in progress. I'm going to either Duracoat it or give it a few coats of alumahyde 2. I want to go for a parkerized look. Well here it is as it sits now:

Lets see some of your single shots!
I rarely see any on this forum and it makes me a little sad since they really are a beautifully simple and useful tool...
