That's amazing. Glad there a few out there still, can't beat it for reliability and ghost ring sights alone. I don't know if it is still on the savage/Stevens catalog, I haven't looked. Initially I didn't like the physically narrow trigger but since it has loosened up (slicker) I don't even notice it, I never did get a trigger shoe for it. Also I heard an original Ithaca trigger group will drop in and gives it the ability to "slam fire" my guess is no disconnector?

Yeah the Ithaca trigger groups do drop it with little to no fitting whatsoever. My buddy is a leftie and put in a left handed trigger group into his field model so he could have the left handed safety.

And no they are no longer in the savage stevens catalogue or being imported from china anymore. If you want one NIB if jump on them now especially since they are so cheap. You can never have too many shotguns...
