Tactical shotgun classes

I'm looking to familiarize myself with my tactical shotgun and was wondering if there were any classes that anyone could recommend to take? Something with range time, some courses and maybe discussion in a group setting about using a shotgun for defense in the home. I live in the Auburn area but I'm wiling to drive a good distance for something that looks promising.

Verrett's Tactical out of Concord, CA. Their Fighting Shotgun class is excellent.

I'll second GrayOps for a basic familiarization for the defensive shotgun (August at Sac Valley can suck; a hat and lots of sunscreen and water).

Being not as popular as handgun or carbine courses, choices for shotgun training are fewer.

Probably one of the best shotgun trainers in CA would be Scott Reitz at ITTS in SoCal - https://internationaltactical.com/courses_shotgun.html.

Another possibility is DFT over in Reno, NV - http://dftraining.net/index.php?dft=dft_course_shotgun.

Also Mike Lamb at Stoic Ventures in Fairfield is a solid choice as well - http://www.stoicventures.com/.
