Just purchased a Stevens 350 (poor mans Ithaca model 37)

Yes I know it's a Chinese copy, but I really wanted an Ithaca and I didn't really like the idea of using an older gun to chop down into a home defense gun. Plus I figured the Stevens 350 would be a fun beater. At the moment I only have 2 Baikal single shot 12Ga shotguns, I sold my wingmaster because I didn't shoot it much, but after having a couple shady figures knock on my front door at 4am, I had an excuse to buy another pump shotgun.

That's the picture from the Gunbroker auction. I paid 200 bucks for it. For a full steel 12ga I really don't think it's a bad deal. I liked my old police trade in wingmaster but I really have an Ithaca hankering and didnt't feel like paying the ridiculous cost for the newer, uglier versions, nor did I feel like busting up an older one and spending extra cash modifying it to my liking.

This one has a 5 shot tube for a total of 5+1. Some are 4+1. I got to handle one while I was working at the gun store I was previously employed at, and it really impressed me for what it was. Not as smooth as a regular ithaca, but I liked the fact that it has dual action bars and a bigger foregrip. The sights are suprizing nice, rear ghost ring with a front river optic.

Stevens is no longer importing these clones so I jumped on the chance to get one while I still could. I can't wait til it comes into my LGS.

I'm going to end up doing a full review on it since there really aren't any out there on these little beasts. My example is NIB.

    More to come...
