Trying to date a Browning A5

I have a Browning A5 Light Twelve I am trying to date. On the left side of the barrel is G9682. I am going to sell it, so I want as accurate a date I can get.

I found it before. but I am unable to now.

Any help would be appreciated.

All seriousness aside, I would date either of My A5s. In fact, I already put a ring on it! (friction ring, that is).
Only Light Twelves though....no fatties
