    Found a Gem! Ferlach 410ga

You when you go to a shop just looking, and something just sticks out and pokes you in the eye...

Well, that's what happened last week.

410ga is by far my favorite gauge to shoot and quite frankly my scores are not any better even with a 12ga...

I found this Ferlach, an Austrian made Guild gun. Absolutely exceptional engraving, demo-block Boehler steel barrels on an O/U Merkel type box lock action.

    Specs are: 410ga, 26", .013/.037 chokes, single selectable trigger, ejectors, 14 1/4" LOP, 1 1/2-2"DOC/DOH. Manufactured 1966.

The White Line pad has to go. I'm going to have a matching checkered wood cap made. overall condition as you can see from the pics is excellent. It has been shot very little, has really nice patina but does need a good cleaning.

Anyway, I thought I put something up in the forum other than a Mossy

    Congratulation! Beautiful 410...
Some are forever stuck at the maturity level most commonly found in bad middle school students.
Likely because they were ostracized or picked-on themselves in response to their own behavior.
Wouldn't it be great if the real world also had an Ignore List?

Funny you should ask... The irony is that it wasn't much more than what some high-end AR's are selling for. Figure a Larue OBR (I could be wrong on the LaRue designation) goes for what, $4-5K, and you'll have a difficult time reselling it for that price. This class of shotgun maybe pricey but the older guns like this tend to stay their value and in many cases appreciate over time.
