Always looking for vintage Winchester and Marlin lever action rifles. Looking to sell? Know of one for sale? Drop me a line!

Thanks for the info. I use the ski-slope style pictured below, and I don't think the new CDM model would offer me any extra functionality.

I agree that your solution is a better choice. Actually, I have 3 Mossberg 500's, all well used. I have never had an issue with the admittedly cheap factory safety.

Bigger, in this case is better, than the factory. in the blind with gloves, maybe a little wet.. Think 3gun now, a little faster at the BEEP, then when you go to dump the shotgun in the barrel ,easier to find, beats getting a 30 second penalty. Price is fair also

I like my spur. The wave thing just looks wonky.

                  Thanks for sharing though.

Brownells also offers kits with other safety parts included, in case you'd like to swap out more than just the button.

the ski slope is pro mag, and you can get it almost anywhere

Thanks -- I knew there was someone besides Brownell who takes credit for that thing.

Installed one other those on my brother inlaw's missing safety that he gifted to my dad. Purchased at Brownell's 2 years ago.
