    Shotgun Value Help

I was cleaning out m Dad's safe over the holidays and we decided to sell duplicates / stuff we don't need from his large collection of firearms. I'm in the process of looking up values for firearms..but some of it's hard to find stuff. I figure I'll use the funds to purchase new toys. Here's a list of photos and what we've got; can you help me assign some values?

      I would keep them all.

      Here's my stab in the dark w/o knowing what he paid for them;

      Stevens 311R 12G 18" SxS $275

Exel Arms of America 12G OU $300 maybe more if it has interchangable choke tubes

Sturm/Ruger 20G OU $600+ more if it has interchangable choke tubes

American Imports (from Spain) .410 SxS $225 Is this one C&R?

      Interarms/Rossi Squire .410 $200

That shotgun is a Ugartechea. Still trying to assess the value of these guns...

are you looking for quick sales or willing to wait a week or two entertaining offers?

I'm willing to wait a while. Want them gone by the end of this month if possible, but I don't want to give them away.

Ruger o/u 20 ga. with blued reciever is the older model and has fixed chokes.

If its a real 311R, not a cut down 311, then I think the value is much higher than $250-$300 that the blue book quotes. I bought one that had only 25 rounds through it and the original owner still had the original box. I immediately got a lot of emails asking me to sell the gun and a couple that wanted just the box! IIRC I was offered $500-$600

heres a note from a 311R owner to me

I've had my original Stevens 311R since the early 80's. Absolutely love it. Purchased it from a major gun store in National City "back in the day". It's very well made, never had a problem. I've never seen another one for sale.

I've been told, years ago Stevens was approached by NYPD to make a factory custom short barreled SxS 12ga for their now famous "stake out" squad. They agreed and the 311R was born. Nothing beats a 12ga SxS for "accross the room" firepower.

Congrats on the purchased. With all due respect, if it's in that good a shape (and I'm sure it is) and has the original box, I wouldn't shoot it but put in the safe. It's a part of history. IMHO
And I have taken his advice,
"I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness; I love only that which they defend.

I have shotguns with 'fixed' chokes but that doesn't effect their value.
