Been experiencing some issues with my 870 Wingmaster yesterday. After about ~100 rounds of shells, the action started getting -very- sticky, where the last 50% of the bolt comes back, it starts to get significantly sticky, or blocking something.
Thinking it was just getting hot and bothered, I just ignored it and let it cool off while I enjoyed the rest of the range.
Came back to the safe this morning, and sure enough, same sticky bolt.
NOTE: this is NOT when I try to extract the shell, just when I'm trying to fully pull the action back, to cycle a new shell in.
Thinking it was some gunked up lube (I use CLP & MPro Gun Lube [first time using it]), I cleaned it; same thing...
I also used #00 steel wool on a 7/16" dowel to polish up the chamber, barrel on recommendation from aippi.
I'm now at a loss, it's quite near impossible to cycle a round without flipping the gun over and using my strong hand to work the action.
Looking into the receiver, I feel like it could be the ejector pushing against the bolt- but I'm not sure.
Not sure where to start- and if I'm in over my head, it might be time to pay a visit to a gunsmith.
I've also had the shell latches come misaligned, but I'm assuming this is pretty typical.
I've attached photos of the ejector as well as the trigger assembly just to see if anything is particularly wrong.
