You might look at these before you buy. Just a thought.

Browse a HUGE selection of hunting rifles & shotguns, gun parts, gunsmithing tools, reloading equipment, ammo, and more! Brownells: Since 1939
I move slow but I make up for it by shooting poorly.

When I hit the lotto I'm only shooting factory.

No good can come of having dummy rounds. Never put anything in the chamber but an actual round.

Treat every gun as if it were loaded.

Snap caps and dummy rounds are an accident waiting to happen.

I use the Brownells dummy shells and blaze orange shotshells made by http://www.mfgservs.com/products.html#inertammo in training classes. It is much safer for students to initially train with dummy rounds. You can also demonstrate the set-up for a twelve-twenty burst very effectively with dummy shells. Live ammunition is not permitted in the class room portion of training classes for obvious reasons. IMHO dummy ammunition is an effective training aid.

You're right, I only shoot about 3 or 4 thousand rounds a year. On the other hand, I don't think there's a boogie man hiding around every corner.

                  I disagree.

I can practice load/unload, and handling of a pistol at my kitchen table with my wife while my kids are asleep... using snap caps.

Live rounds or no rounds... not good ideas.

Ysr come on out to a 3 gun match or a shotgun match and you might change your mind. I'll loan you a shotgun if you don't have one for this game.

DV I'm glad I could help. If you live in the area and want some help with loading your shotgun shoot me a PM.
