I use the Brownells dummy shells and blaze orange shotshells made by http://www.mfgservs.com/products.html#inertammo in training classes. It is much safer for students to initially train with dummy rounds. You can also demonstrate the set-up for a twelve-twenty burst very effectively with dummy shells. Live ammunition is not permitted in the class room portion of training classes for obvious reasons. IMHO dummy ammunition is an effective training aid._______________________________________

I disagree.
I can practice load/unload, and handling of a pistol at my kitchen table with my wife while my kids are asleep... using snap caps.
Live rounds or no rounds... not good ideas.Comment

Ysr come on out to a 3 gun match or a shotgun match and you might change your mind. I'll loan you a shotgun if you don't have one for this game.
DV I'm glad I could help. If you live in the area and want some help with loading your shotgun shoot me a PM.Last edited by randy; 01-04-2009, 5:04 PM.I move slow but I make up for it by shooting poorly.
