Where to get my gun engraved?

I'm looking to get that gold circular piece on the bottom of my stock engraved. I called Bolsa Gunsmithing, but they said I had to leave my gun with them for 3 weeks. I'd prefer to have something like this done while I wait or possibly by the next day. Anyone know of a place in Orange County?

Maybe ask a shop the makes trophies, or something. Anything a gunsmith or engraver does is going to take months.

Take it to your next local gun show. Get it while you wait. I hate leaving my stuff with others too.

Yeah I don't want to leave my gun with someone for 3 weeks.. Especially if I'm shooting every weekend. I just made an appointment to come in next week to get it done while I wait. They said it'd take 45 minutes and will cost me $20, versus the 65 I was originally quoted by a gun shop. I'm happy.

Not sure if there is a wait, but Im bringing some lowers to get engraved next week at OC custom Coating. Found them through one of the crossroads shows a couple shows back

I called the number today and they advised that their engraver comes down every 2 or 3 weeks, but he will be coming down the week of 03/28 I believe.

I agree that Charles Lee out of the Camanche Hills does good work, and sad to learn he returned to England. Here's a pic of some simple work he did for me on a family gun. He sketched some ideas, then engraved it while my wife and I had lunch in the club house. Cost $50, plus lunch. :-)
