LOOKING TO BUY A 20GA AUTO.

I am I the market for a 20ga autoloader. It would be for field and skeet use. Where would be the best location to purchase this item? I prefer Beretta autos over Benelli but I would be open to either. I can afford to buy a nice gun my budget would be 2k or less. Any help would be appreciated. I am located in Artesia and would be willing to drive a ways for a deal.

Thanks I was trying to remember the name of that place. I only wish they made a 20 A300, I'd get 2 of them.

the only A400 that they make in 20g (that I know of) is the A400 action. I have one, it's not bad. very very light. I think it's meant to be a field/hunting gun. Has mounts for a scope. It has a field stock, which is a little low for me.

I wish Beretta would make a target gun in 20g with adjustable comb.

You're a half hour South of PSA. It's worth the drive.

A used 391 is a good gun too, but they're so popular they're hard to find.

I think they make the blue one too. I'm not a fan of the Kick Off system. These guns are so soft shooting to begin with there's no need.

I have had zero problems with my Remington 11-87. It mounts almost automatically (fits really well) and swings really nice. But maybe shooting an 870 for years helped......

Benelli has a stellar line of autoloaders in 20ga. The rental guns at Argentinian dove hunting ranches are predominantly Benelli Montefeltro 20ga - that should tell you something.

The Berettas mentioned are nice as well - a gas gun is a slightly more complex mechanism and requires a bit more maintenance.

My wife has owned a CZ 720 for years. It's a very easy and fun gun to shoot. She recently loaned it out to a friend who wanted to introduce his GF to skeet shooting. His Mossberg 590 12 ga was too much for her 5'2" little-bit-o-nuttin to handle. But the CZ is a sweet shooter, very manageable, she left the field missing only 3 out of an entire round, feeling very successful and grinning from ear to ear. They are also very affordable but are not "cheaply" made. Check them out before dropping a lot more money on not-a-lot more gun.

Get on down to PSA. Ask for Jordan.

I prefer the Benelli's over the other brands...my preference. The Monty, Sport II, Legacy, Cordoba. M2. You can add weight to all of them. That said, although I haven't shot one, I kind of like the Beretta 20ga Xplor Action too...but, like most guns, they've had some issues that you won't read about in magazine reviews.

On 4 occasions the weapon has fired and ejected, but the mag tube has not released the next shell onto the carrier. The bolt then closes on an empty chamber. Anybody else had this problem? I am thinking this is not a...

I'm guessing I'm not the first one to have this issue, so hopefully someone has some pointers. I bought a 20g A400 Action a couple days ago. It fits me perfectly, and I managed to weight it up to 7.75lb from 5.75lb , so it should make for a great dual purpose field/casual clays gun -- that...

Well after looking at several different makes and models i am getting the A400 unico 20ga with a 28in barrel. I tried to like the benelli and even the a300 12ga but the 20 just fit me. Its a llively little gun and my lgs price matched PSA.

I was going to recommend a weatherby sa-08 but you made a fine choice! Can't go wrong with beretta
