Hi All I'm new to the Orange County, California area. Does anyone know of a shotgun friendly indoor range? I know Lytle creek in San Bernardino, but that's a long drive and it's outdoors. Thanks in advance gents!

From what I've heard Insight makes you purchase their shotshells which run $5.00 for 10 rounds. That's way too expensive for shotshells and totally not worth it if you're going to shoot a bunch.
I guess they figured that there aren't many indoor shotgun ranges in SoCal and use this to their advantage.Comment

Really, it's not that bad. 50 rounds is $25 (about double what I pay at walmart). But, it is really close by where I live (door to door for me is about 25 min), so it's worth it.From what I've heard Insight makes you purchase their shotshells which run $5.00 for 10 rounds. Firing lane: $15
Fifty rounds: $25
5 targets: ~$5
---------
Total ~$45

Make the quick drive down to Oceanside and go to Iron Sights next time, you won't be disappointed, they are shotgun friendly.
Also the range staff and basically everyone that works there are cool as hell. You don't get that much at ranges in CA anymore. I take my shotgun business there if I'm not up to driving further to the desert.Originally Posted by Wherryj
