I probably would not have bought it, but a number of years ago I won a synthetic stocked 20 ga 11 87 at a CWA dinner. It quickly became my favorite duck hunting gun. As a result it has been fed a steady diet of 7/8 oz steel, 1550 fps, 3 inch ammo, probably as hot a load as you can buy for the 20. If you don't want to buy a new action bar assembly, consider leaving the "barrel seal activator" off the gun when using such hot loads. I didn't, and had to buy a new $100 action bar assembly. With the bsa in my gun throws these empties 20 or 30 feet. With it out, it cycles this ammunition faithfully and tosses the empties 6 or 8 feet. The bsa goes back in for light target or dove loads.
