So I have been saving $$, researching, watching YouTube and bugging Calguners for their opinions on a shotgun for months. Today I go in and order a Mossberg 590A1 (51771 model number). Nope. None can be found.

How about any 590A1? Nope.
How about any 590? Nope.

Seems there was a rush on home defense weapons and I am SOL. What gives? Is this true? Bad enough Mossberg quit offering the Magpul gear I wanted with the 590A1 - but now I cannot get one period.

How long until supply catches up the paranoia? (Yes I am one of the paranoid)

Any advice for finding what I want and getting it delivered?

Anyone else feeling the crunch of a gun rush? I am going to have a Guinness and sulk a bit.

location? If you're in socal, near anaheim, Grant from Ammo Paradise has them in stock. You can order online and when it arrives, make an appointment to come in start your DROS, it'll take you about 15-30 minutes.

I am looking for the 20" barrel, 9rd, ghost rings 590A1 model #51771.

I really wanted the Magpul version #51773, but I called Mossberg and they quit making it a few months ago.

I am So Cal, but Canejo Valley area. Anaheim is too far in LA traffic, but thanks for the link! It looks like they have a good selection.

Just remember any and all weapons can be purchased from out of state. I don't buy guns in state at all. Never will. All those Mossbergs are common and in stock all over the US.

I was hoping for the 590A1 (which I think is pictured). But, since this 590 has the Magpul so I might just "pull the trigger" and get it.

Is a $60 FFL fee typical if I have it shipped to my local gun shop? That is what they quoted.

$60 for the out of state transfer fee is what I pay. But you will need to pay tax and DROS as well. DROS is usually $25. All in all though it still looks a killer deal.

How do you go about locating the guns you buy out of State?

There are a lot of Mossbergs online, but I have not found a single model #51773 or #51771 by looking blindly around the internet.
