Help identifying and valuing "beretta 12ga silver hawk?"

So my brother in law just inherited this side by side shotgun. He was told it is a beretta 470 silverhawk possibly 1999 ish by the ffl that shipped it out here. I honestly know nothing about them, from looking at some google image searches it appears to be more similar to some from the late 50's early 60's, maybe 58. But we couldn't find much on how to identify them. A serial number search on beretta's website returned a Newer .243 rifle so that was no help. We will probably call beretta on Monday. Hopefully someone here will know more about this and can give us some background/history on the shotgun and maybe a value. I apologize for the pics in advance, I will post up better ones once he has the rifle in hand.

Also, he has no idea when the last time it was fired or cleaned. Can anyone recommend a good gunsmith for a shotgun like this to go through it in the Los Angeles area. He would probably be willing to travel a bit to find the right person to look at it.

I have the 20g model. They are not 470's. I don't think they really had a model #. They are Garcia era IIRC.

I'd guesstimate $800 - $1200 depending on condiion. Is that corrossion or some other staining? I see a couple lightly buggered screws.

Yu might inquire at Pacific Sporting Arms. From what I can tell they are one of the premier double gun shops in SoCal.
