    A300 Swimming Lesson ??

I went swimming with my A300 yesterday: http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s....php?t=1155878

I spent today hosing off more stuff, cleaning my Beretta A300 shotgun, and my Mojo duck decoys. Both were covered / filled with water and silt.

Field stripping my gun was no problem, but there was water and silt in the magazine tube, and in the recoil spring tube.

    I found these two videos,

I had a lot of respect for you till now Racer. You are a cruel beast tearing the legs off of them poor little Ducks. I am reporting you to PITA.

But yes, most of the damage I see when guys bring a gun in that they had worked on came from them not having the right tool and trying to Bubba the job with the wrong tool. Channel locks and ball pin hammers are simply not the fix all many guys think they are. So you are a wise man to have and use the right tools but still a beast for what you did to them two little Ducks. How is they gonna swim with no feets?

If you're going to a gun fight, take a shotgun. If you can't take a shotgun, don't go.

How do you pronounce Mr Deutsch?

Did you get any pond water in your mouth?

          Did you swallow any?

WD-40 stands for Water Displacement 40. NOT to be used as a mouthwash after a duck hunting adventure.

OK, a bit of clarification. It’s not the spring clip in the mag tube that keeps you legal, it’s the plug itself. The clip keeps the plug from falling out when you take the end-cap off.

With the end-cap in place, the cap itself holds the plug in place.

              I’m (obviously) not a gunsmith 
