Stoeger 2000 semi auto

Hey CG,

Anyone have or have any feedback on the Stoeger 2000 semi auto? uses the Benelli Intertia system....looks interesting

does anyone know if Benelli accesories fit the Stoeger? like extended tube capacity, ghost rings and other tacti-cool accessories?

I have one that I hunt with. It's an excellent shotgun for the price.

As far as I've read, Benelli components will not fit. However, there is someone that sells extended tubes on ebay. They look pretty nice from what I've seen.

I've used a Stoeger M2000 woodstock for a number of years and it's really an excellent shotgun. It uses the same choke tubes as the Benelli and has the same basic operating system but they are NOT interchangeable and I don't know if accessories will interchange. I don't think they will but other than the choke tubes I've never tried.

I think it's an excellent shotgun if you want the benefits of the inertia system in a field gun but it's not the best choice to build a cheap Benelli M1S90 tactical clone

how's the felt recoil on the Stoeger compared to other semi-auto shotguns?
