What vest do you like for trap/skeet?

Been using an Allen pouch/belt. Like the idea of a vest better.

I use 2 different vests, depending on the weather.

For colder months, I wear a Beretta Silver Pigeon. This vest is a very simple one, with 2 nice pockets that holds the entire box of shells without having to pour them out. It does not have the mesh type design, which makes it warmer to wear, very nice when it is colder. It also comes with a recoil gel pad which you can remove if you wish.

For warmer months, I wear a Cabelas Target Master II right hand shooting vest. This one is a mesh type design, and is nice and cool for warmer months. I also like it because it has more D rings, one on the right side, which is where I prefer to hook my towel to. Useful for wiping sweat off your face and hands when shooting. The only downside to this vest is that it does not come with a recoil pad. While it does provide a pocket for inserting one if you wish, I've found that the pocket is too small and not in the right place for proper recoil pad placement. When I shoot in this vest, I don't use the recoil pad.

I like the Browning line of vests. Reasonably priced, and they have a pocket for a recoil pad.

I like PAST, they have a righty padded area, mesh, good pockets, fron and rear....and are made in USA, just sayin'

I will give suggestions but its just your preference just like anything else you wear.

Just like your pants...ya got to try it on before you buy

Go with mesh...its easier to wear something warmer under then tiring to stay cool on a hot day

Skip the shooting pad...do the mods to the shotgun if you need more padding.

Not too lose of a fit is better.

I just went to Bass Pro and picked up their generic vest. I've used it for 3 years for weekly trap. It's worked just fine.
