    Remington V3

Does anybody have any clue what's going on with Remington and the V3??? Are there any updates with that lawsuit? Do they have any kind of release date in mind?

Suit was settled and Remington started production last month.

Rumor mill reports the synthetic version is starting to show up at wholesalers, nothing definite though.

I wanted to buy the camo one for this years Duck season, but that's not happening. I'll probably wait till late summer to pick one up after there have been some end user reviews.

I've heard some good things about the V3. What was the lawsuit about tho?

Trademark infringement by Daniel Defense. They have a product named V3 and sued Remington.

I received an email (that I deleted) last week from remington that said it would be available in February.

Also, found this posted 4 days ago....

It’s official: Remington is now shipping the V3.I covered this last year in a review you guys can see at http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2014/12/31/review-new-2015-remington-v3-shotgun/ (yes, Phil’s name is on it but as you can see by the note at the bottom of the review, it was actually written by yours truly).

Saw one at a local Sportsman's Warehouse on 2/26. It felt nice. Didn't feel surprisingly light but it was easy to notice that its center of mass was much closer to the action/trigger. Nothing fancy with quality of synthetic stock and forearm. Agreed with some reviews of the lower quality plastic (rough finish) trigger guard. It was the 28" version and was listed at $749.
