Picked 870, 500/590, M4. Missing Winchester trench gun and Ithaca which would have likely been my other two choices. Side by side would have been another choice.

870, 500 variants and Winchester 1300 by far the smoothest pump shotgun I have ever shot.

Picked these for the top 5:

Remington 870 - older ones are better and you can score a nice Police Magnum if you wait for a police trade in sale

Winchester 1300 Defender - a great and underrated shotgun. Too bad they don't make them like they used to. Small, light and handy. Also shoots the Aguila Mini Shells without issue.

Mossberg 590A1 or the 590 - if i were in the market for a new shotgun, it would be a 590 or the 590A1

Benelli M4 - would have preferred the Benelli M2 instead.

Beretta 1301 - the Tactical model is a nice gun for the money, that's for sure.
