    light/laser combo for 870

I have a new Remington 870 Tac Storm shotgun. I want to mount a combination light/laser unit on the bottom of the extended magazine tube, which holds 8 rounds. I want a pressure switch attached to the forend. I've seen a cheap one at Chearper that Dirt, but have doubts about the quality of an "off-brand". Does anybody have any product/brand suggestions that won't break the bank?

You really don't need a laser for a shotgun, kind of pointless. As for the flashlight set-up, if your worried about cost then your not going to find a "quality" product. Look at the surefire shotgun mounted systems, they're pretty sweet.

Definately true. Especially so when you want a pressure swith. A good setup will have a price that suggests such.

I don't like pressure switches though. I just click mine on if I need to.

here's the best setup for you.

        1. buy the mesa tactical picatinny mount for your 870. it wedges between the barrels in the front.

next, if you are hell bent on a laser light combo, look into the Streamlight TLR2.

they are picatinny mounted pistol lights but work well with any rifle. LEd, extremely durable and long lasting.

then get the pressure switch cord, probably the flex model.

then all you have to do is mount it and have fun. use some super sticky velcro for the pressure switch on the pump handle. this is a good setup if you do not like the surefire forend

if you wanted just a light without the laser, there are alot more options for you.
