    kitting up the new blunderbuss

With the lead ban, my old SXS hunting gun is obsolete so I replaced her with a Lanber O/U, which I'm still warming up to. It is a sporting clays model so it will have to serve me for upland, wildfowl, varmints, HD, and clay targets except trap, since I'll keep my trap gun for as long as lead is permitted at the trap ranges.
Since most of my shotgunning gear is worn out, I thought I'd start the new Lanber out with a clean slate:

1-I'd like to get a soft case with a place to store the choke tubes. For a hard case I can use the one I keep for my trap gun so a hard case isn't a priority.

2-A new hunting vest or shell bag (my trap vest is still good, but the WW2 surplus shell bag I've hunt with really belongs in a museum)

3-I'd also like to add another cleaning rod as Boresnakes don't do well with plastic build up from the wads. I do have one cleaning rod I like---an old Outers with the black handle---but I like having an extra (would this be considered wasteful?) The new Outers and Hoppe's shotgun cleaning rods don't look as well made as my old Outers.

4-I'd also want a new sleeve to protect my new Lanber from "gun safe rash." The ones I've used are an open weave cotton with a soft nap and I've never had a corrosion problem using these, but they a darned hard to come by these days.

5-Patches. I'm down to my last few. I prefer cotton ones with a bit of "tooth" like twill on one side and other side flanneled, like GI surplus.

So what do you recommend? Where should I commence looking on line?
