Charles Daly, Aftermarket?

Good Morning Calgunners,
Does anyone have/know of a place/business/website/other dimension that offers ANY aftermarket parts (i.e. pistol grips, stocks) for the Charles Daly brand of shotgun. I own the 12guage field tactical and love the simplicity of the shotgun, however I am kicking around the notion of converting it to a pistol grip shotgun and cannot find anything. Thank you.

Last I heard, CD was coming out with a fixed pistol grip stock similar to the Benelli M4 with their upgraded Field Tacticals (sights, rails, etc) sometime next year.

I was able to attach an ATI "carbine" stock to my FT with a metric screw from Orchards. While it felt nice and tight, it didn't look safe to fire as the notches/collar of the 870 adapter that are supposed to go in the receiver didn't and the only thing holding it together were the threads of an unknown metal screw.

Yep, without the aftermarket I'm looking at Garage Gunsmithing tactics as well. Do you have a pic of your FT with the carbine stock?

I don't have any pics of it put together, but I can snap a few tomorrow after finding and charging the digi cam.


edit- Bit late, but no pics today. Couldn't find the camera, trying to borrow brothers.
Figures, it takes 5 minutes to throw on a stock and several days to photograph it.

Sorry for the wait, couldn't find the camera, then it took awhile to get a hold of my brothers, didn't help that the batteries haven't been charged in several months.

The screw used was bought from Orchards for $1.50

barcode# 9214198, Metric, Hex Cap Screw, M8x56 Pitch Size 1.25


The screw is just the right length to fit in both pieces (pistol grip Mossberg, adapter 870/Norinco).

Left out the close up pics, they were blurry and the battery was low. Can always retake them if needed.

The pistol grip will fit into the receiver by itself with a little dremel work on the top of the finger rest but it will be about 26". By adding the 870 adapter it hovers around to 28.5", not sure exactly how they measure so it might be more or less.

It's probably safe to fire, just haven't done it yet.

If anything the stock might need to be tightend after shooting, as there is nothing to keep it from moving side to side once it comes loose.
Monday was the first time in several months that I have attached the ATI stock.

Oh man, now I gotta get that new semi auto CD. Good thing I was already saving up for something else.

i have a 3 1/2 mag field tactical also, ati folding stock rem870 adapter modified a bit. works fine i shoot skeet for fun with it!!
