    New to me purchase

Well, I sold a LOT of guns to be able to come up here to Idaho, and was really in need of a good working gun. I walked into a local gun shop here and asked about a number of shotguns before running into this one. It's a Winchester 1300xtr which looks like it couldn't have had a shell run through it. There was ZERO fouling in the barrel or the action, plenty of dust throughout the barrel, and some in the action as well, but not bad at all. I dusted it out, lubed it up, and cycled it a number of times and it is just butter smooth. It is a late 70's or early 80's from what I can tell, and came with the original paperwork, gun case, tags, chokes, and choke wrench. I got it for the low low price of my trade-in Kahr CW9 and $26.00 cash. VERY happy with this purchase. Best part was I got to walk out with it same day for the first time in my life!

I hear this will cycle Aguila Mini Shells also, but can't wait to put an extended tube on it, and a bunch of minis and blast away.

Winchester 1300 has been a great gun for me for the past 12-15 years, low maintenance, hunted dove, goose, duck, clays, and been reliable since say one. good purchase!

Nice trade up! How did you manage to bypass the waiting period?

I live in a free state now. I can walk into a gun shop, pay money, and walk out of said gun shop with the firearm that I want. No roster, no waiting period, no red tape B.S.
