Adjustable stock for Mossberg SA 20 Tactical?

I read the existing threads, and while Google and I are old pals, I can't manage to identify any aftermarket stocks that claim to fit.

Someone to whom I am married has short arms ...

I looked at the SG flowchart. A tube fed semi auto with an adjustable stock and pistol grip -AW?

I was just thinking the same thing, I had to pin my c-stock on my M4 to make sure it wasn't an AW.

Maybe that's an option for Librarian - buy an adjustable stock, find the setting that fits his wife the best, and pin it there so it can't be adjusted anymore. Librarian would know this better than me, but from what I understand there is no "constructive possession" concerning performing the above work, but might want to remove the magazine tube during the process just to be sure.

Totally different weapon and stock, but maybe my M4 collapsible stock pinning thread will be of some assistance http://calguns.net/calgunforum/showthread.php?t=1059461. Maybe you can apply the concept to your collapsible stock if you find one.

Settle down, folks. The new "ghost gun" regulations probably don't do what you think they do.

True, pistol grip + adjustable stock is a problem.

I must mean Mossberg International SA-20 Railed #75778, which appears to be the same gun without the pistol grip.

Of course, could also get the stock cut for something shorter than that 14" LOP.

The Bantam has the 13" LOP, but 24" barrel instead of 20" and has the different sights.

It also seems to be true that Weatherby buys the same Turkish SA 20 gauge and resells it as their SA-08, but no luck finding adjustable stocks for that, either.

            ><

There are other Mossbers with shorter LOPs...510 Mini Super Bantam is one...10.5-12 LOP. No pistol grip though

              Found this thread http://mossbergowners.com/forum/inde...-pa-459.13197/

Looks like it is the same as a Weatherby PA-459 stock wise.

That's OK - because of the 'assault weapon' thing, don't want the pistol grip.

510 is a pump, so I'm not sure it would fit the semi-auto.

                Drat, another pistol grip.

Interesting thread from Mossberg Owners Group, though.

I think I'll join and ask there.

                Thanks, so far!

Yes, but it does open things up a bit. The PA-459 is a Turkish gun, and there are other imports by different names that use the same parts. Might make it rather easier to find a standard stock in the length you want.

You may find what you need at Brownells...search for an adjustable butt plate...you should be able to adjust lop an inch or 2, as well as cant.

Could always just have a gunsmith cut yours down to a 12.5" length of pull. If not sure where to get it done send it to Robar.
