    The choke is going to come off with the first quarter of the barrel. It's ok.

        I couldn't really tell from the pictures but I know what you mean. That's kinda strange they did that but I hope it all works out.

            Solved

            My new H&R shotgun came with a choke tool, and, since it has the same barrel type, I jumped on the weird choke with it. The choke came out easily.

            Looks like this particular choke didn't like change (small amount of cash)
