I have a versamax and love it. It has all the features I want right out of the box and has functioned flawlessly, currently at about 500 rounds.
Only problem is the lifter can catch my thumb if I'm not careful to keep it curled when loading. Well I just saw that Taran Tactical has an extended carrier for $80. Should I go the replacement route or send my trigger group out to have the lifter welded? http://www.brownells.com/shotgun-par...gton__Versamax

I have not used one on a Versamax, but have a complete TTI gun, it all works wonderfully, and if in SoCal can drop off to his business and say hello to Mr. Butler whilst you're there.Originally posted by AreWeFreeHas anyone used the TTI part or sent their lifter to C-Rums to be welded?Comment

AreWeFree, I'm sure sending the trigger group with the attached carrier would be sufficient. You know they do modify carriers as a service only...too! A trigger job isn't mandatory nor is any other option.
Have you considered calling them and asking the right questions to see if they can fix your issue and how long it will take? All it costs you is the time and the price of the phone call... pretty cheap way to get answers and a possible solution in my opinion.Last edited by hattles; 10-07-2015, 10:38 AM.If I ever stop laughing, I'm dead.
