    Superior finishes?

As always, mods, if this isn't in the right place, feel free to nix it.

The poster says his stainless-steel finish is better than the nickel-type finishes found on Remington and Mossberg marine shotgun models. Reviews that I've found online aren't really conclusive.

Is there one that's really better than the other? I will be living in a high-moisture environment fairly soon, so I'm interested in something that will resist rust.
From Sacramento, Calif. My wife gave me six slots for weapons. As of 3/23/10, I'm thinking: CZ 75 BD in 9 mm, Glock 19, a FS2000, a Springfield M1A (Standard), Marlin 336 in .30-30, and a CZ 452 bolt-action .22-caliber rifle.

I was under the impression that the marine specimens were made out of stainless steel. If your going to buy one I'd look for an all stainless model.

If your interested in finishes that look Stainless to put on an existing shotgun well......
I just ordered some stainless DuraCoat for a client and will share pictures of his Frame when it's done. It's not a rush job so maybe the middle of January it will show up on my website. DuraCoat comes in almost 200 colors and is impervious to salt water. We won't finish the inside of the barrel but just about everything else gets finished.
