Replacement barrel for Mossberg 930 JM Pro?

Mossberg's site and various other places on the Internet lists a 28" barrel replacement for the Mossberg 930.

Given all the mods made to the 930 JM Pro, is it possible to still use this replacment barrel on it?

I'm considering the possibility of configuring a JM Pro for clays in the short-term until I can upgrade to an O/U I like, then switch it back to its original configuration for 3-gun.

(I dropped a message off to Mossberg, but haven't heard back from them.)

If you have a standard 5 round magazine, a replacement barrel is all you would need. If you have a extended mag tube, you might get a short mag tube spring, and an end cap.

It looks like all you need is the new barrel, a shorter mag spring and a magazine cap.

Or if where you shoot allows extended mags then it seems you could simply switch barrels and leave the rest as is.

You can add a plug if hunting capacity is an issue. A simple wooden dowel is all they provide for the 500 series.

The JM mods should not impact the use of a different barrel unless the new barrel has a vent rib and the Mag clamp will not fit.
