contact remington. I had my 870 expressed replaced under davidons warranty but the new one is having the same issue. Remington had it sent to one of the local gunsmith and repaired. it should be back tomorrow.. because I was having the same issue you were having.

What is it about the express tactical that won't allow other 870 barrels to fit?

Is that the barrel with the choke tube? I have the model without the choke tube but it wouldn't bother me to get it with one.

Do you know what the gunsmith did to you're barrel to fix it? I've had the chamber honed, polished, and deburred and it still has problems.

The 870 Express Tactical's magazine tube is longer so it tightens in a different location than other 870's.
