dove hunt with versa max

I took my new (to me) versa max out for two days of dove hunting in IV.The gun was great. Ran like a champ. Not one hiccup with 1 oz loads. I was really impressed with this gun so much so i had to say something.

2 days. 30 M/WW doves plus 2 bonus eurasians. And 3 big f..king pigeons.
Had a blast.

Do you like the A5? A5s are a little rich for my blood but they look nice. I have a 6 month old vizsla i want to take him out but may give it a few more months.

The new A5 is amazing! Honestly will eat anything from low base 2 3/4 to 3.5" mag shells. I shoot a lot and haven't had any problems till yesterday's shoot. At the end of the day I started to get a no cycle/stovepipe shell. I knew it was dirty since I have not cleaned it in hundreds of rounds fired. Took it over to the truck and pulled it apart and did a quick clean and oil. Went back out and was back to normal shooting again.
I have always liked the old hump back Brownings. So put my old ones in the safe and bought the new one. I've shot pretty much all the popular shotguns and would choose this one again.

6 months your dog should be ready. I started mine out on pheasant at 4 months. Got his first duck at 6 months. Here he is a 6 months and his first duck.
