    Rem 870 mag capacity question

I have a Remington 870 Express (Talo special edition) 12 gauge shotgun. It has the factory installed mag tube extension and says it can hold 6+1 2 3/4" or 3" shells. I've always used 2 3/4" shells and had no problem loading 6 in the mag tube. I happened to get some 3" shells and tried to load 6. No luck. Would only take 5. Has anyone else had this issue?

    Thanks!

It's not an "issue". Mag capacity is always stated for the shorter sized round and you loose one when going to the longer shell.
