I took a lesson with Don a few days ago. I will probably be out there Monday morning trying to apply what I learned. Holler if you wanna shoot again

I'll be heading out there next Friday with a couple buddies to shoot some sporting clays. Any pointers/tricks (With the facilities) i should be aware of? Thanks for any input.

If you haven't been there this year, go to the clubhouse/office and fill out the release form. Then get a blue key.

• Regardless of how many rounds your shotgun holds, only load two at a time.
• When you move from station to station keep you gun unloaded, and your finger off the trigger
• Only shoot 7.5, 8 or 9 shot, NO SLUGS
• Everybody, even those not shooting needs ear and eye protection

I'll be out there next Friday too. Ping me and I'll point you in the right direction

Yeah, I saw him a few days ago and said you had one scheduled. Now that you have the basics (and really after watching you shoot, you're way past the basics) just put in a crap load of trigger time. How about this Friday?

Be safe guys, folks who hunt only and don't get out to shoot clay too much can sometimes be pretty scary with their gun handling.

I shoot trap at Coyote Valley, it is mostly a sporting clay course and during this time, they get a lot of hunters polishing their shotgun skills. This also when the majority of unsafe gun handling happens.
