No thoughts, neither are perfect, both work well...

I just ordered an m3k because of reliability over the jm930.

I just did some preliminary research on the 930s in general. Have looked into them before but never got around to getting one. It seems most of the reliability issues surround initial break-in period. Once that's done, they usually run well with just about anything. Probably attributed to the loose manufacturing tolerances Mossberg is known for.

You do get a little more for your money with the JM Pro though. Comes stock with a Nordic mag extension and clamp for less than $600.

With the Stoeger you'd need to spend extra after spending $600 pre-tax and fees.

        Either way... both are tempting.

I have a M3K that I upgraded for 3-gun (safety, bolt release, 7 round extension) and it is a very reliable shotgun that gets good reviews if you look online.

I have a m3500, and i love it. There was a break in period with 3500 (i dont know if there is with 3000). I shot it all last hunting season and after breakin it functions perfect.

I have a 930 SPX Blackwater now and had a 930 field/security combo in the past and have been very impressed with both. Smooth shooting and no hiccups. I really like the platform.

The 930's, particularly the JMs, seem to be a real lottery. The M3K is a real kick *** shotgun, it has the larger controls and doesn't need the lifter welded or monkey'd with. It is pretty much a Benelli M1 (or M2) made in Turkey. To me, its a no contest for the M3K. Have you considered the Versamax, those are nice shotguns too.

I agree check out the versa max. While i love my 3500, i got a vesa max this year and im using it this season far its flawless. Big controls, noticabley heavier. However the recoil is nothing with versa max so its a great trade off.

I have a Stoeger M3500 for 3 gun and its pretty dang awesome. I also have a Versamax. I currently prefer the Stoeger, although the Versmax fits me a little better the Stoeger loads easier for me and has proven to be stone reliable. I do not have enough time behind the Versamax yet.

                      I refuse to support Remington.
