    Saiga 12 Fixed magazine options

    Hi,
I know there are AK BB out there, but will they specifically work with the RRAC Saiga-12? I have a RRAC 7.62X39 but noticed that it has a different mag release as compared to the Saiga-12. Any information would be great. Thank you

The Saiga12 magazine locks are different from AK magazine locks.

So far, Saiga12 mag-locks are custom made. Usually by a transfer FFL to make them legal for sale in CA.

PRK Arms in Fresno has one that will be coming out that is awesome, especially compared to some of the quick-fixes I have seen. But they seem to have their hands full just making them for the guns they're moving themselves.

I don't know of anyone other than private individuals that have sold them when they've changed out one mag lock for another when their S12 gets "converted"

Conversion changes the location of the trigger guard and necessitates a custom design based on how the conversion was done.

ok, thanks for the info. It would be for a factory Saiga-12. I guess I will give PRK a call to see about purchasing one.
