Sight recommendations for a single-shot shotgun

I have a H&R 20 ga single-shot shotgun that I've had for years. It shoots slugs great but with that single bead site in the front, it makes it hard to aim.

    Recommendations?

BTW - I don't want to send a ton of $$$$ on this, something simple too?

    (Asking too much?)

Find a sight you like and use this -

Or just glue on a mid bead.

What are you shooting with this H&R that you need that much accuracy?
It cannot be inherited, nor can it ever be purchased.
You and no one alive can buy it for any price. It is impossible to rent and cannot be lent.
You alone and our own have earned it with...Your sweat, blood and lives. You own it forever.

    The title is....."United States Marine".

Isn't that barrel thick enough to drill and tape for a scope mount? Or maybe ghost ring?
