SRM 1216

I was thinking about getting a SRM 1216. For those who have it, is it worth buying? Any FTF or FTE? Interested in a bullpup shotgun for HD. Also was looking at a KSG and DP 12.

Lots of time behind a ksg and find it to be reliable and gtg for HD. Never shot srm but from what I've seen could be a platform to prove worthwhile. The dp 12 is what it is, I've never shot one so can't speak for it personally. Standard makes awesome side by side but I have read it's a mixed bag, kinda cool but kinda gimmicky too. Not easy to clear if you short shuck, won't feed right if barrel is pointed down, requires more force to rack two and eject two (is an issue) . But at the same time little work might prove to negate some of those issues. I think the side by side is pretty bad *** only it might take a little work to get used to shoot two, pump, shoot two , pump. End of the day I use the 590A1 pump with 8+1 and keep the ksg n the safe. I trust the 590 enough that I'm looking for another 590a1 for a truck gun.
