    Italian made Beretta 3901 value?

I'm considering a trade and I'm having a difficult time determining the value of my shotgun. It's a Beretta 3901, Italian made 12 guage shotgun.

Both the barrel and receiver are engraved, made in Italy. The owner's manual is for a 390. From what I was told, before they started making the 3901 in the US, they made them in Italy.

Is this shotgun more valuable since it's Italian made? Approximate value?

    Thanks for your help.

I would guess what ever a USA made one is worth plus a few bucks.

Weren't these the "Walmart (no frills)" 390? I really can't imagine a premium over another 1st world mfg of the same gun. Maybe if they'd shipped mfg over to Turkey or something.

          Not a walmart 390.

It seems there is always some confusion as to which model someone has or what the differences between them are. Here is a quick little guide to help identify these models. 390: The 390 came out around 1990. It can be had in both an angled and rounded receiver. The angled version is more...

Jagerdog is correct. The 3901 is a decent shotgun but is more or less a poor mans AL390. $400-$500 depending upon condition.

I purchased a brand new 3901 in 2011 for about $800.00. Nice gun and if it is a RL great adjustability for youth or a woman who wants a 12 gauge semi auto. I would guess if an RL you could get 650.00. If it is a standard then about $450-$550 depending on condition.

They aren't made anymore and aren't readily available. People buy them pretty quickly. They are workhorses.

I don't expect everything handed to me. Just set it down anywhere. Unknown

Thanks - I got $500 for it. I had a two good chokes that went with it.
