So, I took my 16 gauge SB30A out to mess around shooting some trap, and realized my bead was gone. Nowhere to be found. I mic'd the hole where it threads into the barrel and it's .081 inches. Everywhere I've looked all I find are 1/8" beads threaded 6-24 or something like that. Should I drill and re-tap it? Numrich doesn't even list the bead under my shotgun's list of parts.

Can you tell if the threads are still entact?Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED
Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)
Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET
Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT

Thanks feeder, I forgot about Bob's. If he doesn't have it I'll probably just drill and re-tap it. This isn't a fancy expensive gun, I just couldn't figure out what thread it is or who carries an original part.I fly everywhere backwards.

Done. Since the barrel on this particular shotgun has no rib, the muzzle is below the receiver from my point of view when I mount it. I picked up a Truglo FO thread-in at Sportsman's, drilled, tapped, lock-tited, and that puppy is goin NOWHERE!
I fly everywhere backwards.
