    skeet/home D auto loader shotgun?

I have an auto shotgun w/ 28" barrel for skeet and a home defense pump for...well...home defense. I wanted to sell both and get ONE auto shotgun I could use for skeet/trap and then swap on a short barrel for home D. I'm looking for something synthetic and autoloader. Bang for the buck is what I'm looking for. Not a high end benelli or anything like that. 11-87? I can't find anything online that is synthetic and has a reasonably priced long or short barrel I can buy aftermarket or OEM. Thanks.

Go with the Mossberg 930 Combo model, 28" & 18.5" barrels. The price is around $475 or less. Buy now, if you can find one, before they go up in the new year.

The factory 7+1 tube extension is available from Choate.

Why on earth? Keep two guns both in the configurations that you are using them for. Don't pare down your collection to just one for no real reason. It's more inconvenient anyways.

I've got 3 guns that I use for trap. I would never put short barrels on the two pumps, I would just get another pump. Besides, a good 870 HD model is only 50% more than a new barrel.

You can never have too many guns. I always hear tales of regret from guys that used to have... You never really hear people complain that they bought another

Shotgun barrels tend to be pricey with rare exception. As mentioned it is sometimes more cost effective to buy an extra dedicated shotgun for a certain purpose.

If the Mossy 930 comes with two barrels and is in your price range I'd buy it. It's not pretty but it works.
I move slow but I make up for it by shooting poorly.

When I hit the lotto I'm only shooting factory.
