    BSA Shotguns

I'm trying to buy a BSA over/under 20gauge from a guy. Does anyone know how I can find out what model of BSA shotgun I'm dealing with? Google has been no help. Also, the gun has a problem with the top barrel firing pin staying engaged, looks bent too. Trying to determine a good price for both parties. Any help is appreciated, Thanks.

Josh, the BSA O/U's I've had experience with, are polished turds. They look nice, but they're junk. Most were assembled in Turkey from a variety of various parts contractors. Many parts that should be hardened, are just mild steel. When something breaks, and it will, replacement parts are non-existent. The firing pin problem is typical.
Save yourself a headache, and don't throw away your money.

Some were also made in Spain, but few were of good quality. I'd avoid it...
