    930 spx update

Hey guys, so I got a chance to take my new 930 spx to the range. I ran about 100 rounds of different types of stuff through it. It functioned flawlessly except for 2 rounds of low brass #8 bird shot that did not eject out of 25 of those. All of the high brass buck and slugs ran flawlessly as expected.

One problem I am having is that the magazine follower seems to be binding up almost every single time I load the damn thing. It seems to be happening right at were the mag extension connects to the mag tube. I ordered an S&J follower and spring and I hope that helps. I guess I could try running a dowel with some fine grit sand paper through the tube and extension.

    Anyone dealt with this?

Mine did the same thing, I noticed that my extension was bent. Mossberg sent me a new one. I also replaced the follower with one from Brownells. Worked fine since.

Apparently the follower jamming is common and a longer follower seems to do the trick.

If you want to run the low power stuff check out the OR3GUN spacer. Granted I have not done a lot of testing but everything now ejects.

If you read the post, "flawlessly" was in reference to the shotgun cycling high brass. The issue with the mag tube never occurred at the range.

I installed an s&j hardware follower, and it's 100% so far.
